Despite what you might think of their ever-changing sound over the years, you can’t deny that Soilwork are one of the most consistent bands out there when it comes to albums. From ‘The Chainheart Machine’ and ‘Natural Born Chaos’ to the more divisive ‘Figure Number Five’ and ‘Sworn to a Great Divide’ to mammoth double album ‘The Living Infinite’, they haven’t so much balanced the line between Swedish melodeath and alternative influences as they have gone bungee-jumping with it. For now though, the metal press and fans alike are still gushing over their upcoming release, the mammoth album ‘The Ride Majestic’.
Gearing up for the release, Metal Wani’s Edior In Chief Owais ‘Vitek’ Nabi had an in-depth chat with frontman Bjorn Speed Strid. He discusses new album “The Ride Majestic”, musical direction, songwriting, vocals, why this is the darkest album of their career, death’s in family members, Dirk blasts, upcoming tours and much more.
