It’s been fourteen years since Drowning Pool took to Australian stages, touring then in support of their breakthrough debut album ‘Sinner’. Since that time the band has gone on to release five albums, perform on numerous stages worldwide and build a massive following based on the foundations laid down with their first record.
Metal Wani ‘s Jake Patton had a chat with Drowning Pool guitarist CJ Pierce ahead of the Australian tour about topics including the bands impending return to the land down under, their signing with eOne music and recently released album ‘Hellelujah’. CJ also talks about the final lineup with new singer Jasen Moreno, frustration during the auditions, touring, on stage performance with 82 years old John Hetlinger at Chicago Open Air, love for troops and much more.
