Bret Michaels has told NorthJersey.com in a new interview that he has his fingers crossed that POISON will hit the road again in 2017.
“I’m beyond thankful for Rikki [Rockett, drums] and C.C. [DeVille, guitar] and Bobby [Dall, bass],” he said. “These guys are an important part of my life and I’m hoping that POISON and DEF LEPPARD can tour together next spring.”
Bret originally mentioned the prospect of a POISON–DEF LEPPARD tour in a July interview with The Salt Lake Tribune. LEPPARD guitarist Phil Collen later told the 106.9 The Eagle radio station that he knew nothing about the proposed pairing. “I think that was made up — I think it was Bret Michaels‘s wishful thinking,” he said. “[That was] first I’ve heard of it. I actually heard that as well, and it’s, like, ‘No!’ But, yeah, we are gonna be touring, but we haven’t got anything set in stone yet at all.”
POISON and DEF LEPPARD first hit the road together back in 2009, and then again three years later.
