Before there was modern metal, “djent”, electro-metal and whatnot, there was Fear Factory. Starting off in the early 90s as just one of many extreme death metal bands of that time, their reinvention into the world’s biggest “cyber-metal” band is the stuff of legend. Taking cues from industrial acts like Ministry and Godflesh, Fear Factory developed the quintessential “industrial metal” sound through their now classic records ‘Demanufacture’ and ‘Obsolete’ in the 90s. On June 2nd, metalheads at The Tivoli, Brisbane were blessed with an epic lineup with fans ready to take the oath of metal forever and pledge with Industrial metal giants Fear Factory, Circles & Tria Mera.
