Corrosion of Conformity (also known as C.O.C.) are ready for another battle, this time with American metal giants Lamb Of God & Clutch. For almost the majority of its existence, the band has consisted of guitarist Woody Weatherman, bassist Mike Dean (who left in 1987 but rejoined six years later), drummer Reed Mullin (who left in 2001 but rejoined nine years later) and vocalist and rhythm guitarist Pepper Keenan (who joined the band in 1989). They are currently working on a new album which is planned to release later this year.
Metal Wani’s William Richards had a chat with CORROSION OF CONFORMITY guitarist Pepper Keenan. Pepper discusses upcoming North American tour with Lamb Of God, Clutch & his first studio album with C.O.C. after 2005’s “In the Arms of God”. Pepper also talks about the songwriting process, the fan expectations, main source of inspiration for writing songs and how COC’s sound has evolved since the beginning of the band.
