Last year American atmospheric death metallers Fallujah released a crushing yet intricately melodious new album ‘Dreamless’ (Click Here To Read Our Review) – the follow up to 2014’s ‘The Flesh Prevails’. The new record, representing a band arguably in their creative prime, is well-woven and interesting from start to finish. It also features the well-known Fallujah sound of blending harmonious synths with death metal, with the elements not sounding dissonant at all.
Metal Wani’s Jake Patton recently caught up with Fallujah frontman Alex Hoffman to discuss their first ever tour down under. They also discuss how the band jumped at the opportunity to tour with Killswitch Engage and exposing their music to new fans, dropping off a US tour to make these first Australian shows possible, their expectations for these shows and how Fallujah has spent most of 2016 catering towards new fans.
They also discuss Fallujah’s newest album Dreamless, the songwriting bands songwriting process, the relationship between the vocals and the music and their how they are fitting in with their new home on Nuclear Blast.
